[Magdalen] Quiet Pub

I'm just carrying on with normal work, running around hospitals seeing
patients who are in need of ongoing rehabilitation. It's eased off a bit
the past week, shh don't say that too loud.

The boys are off school for the long summer holidays and that always frets
me, not being around for them so I try to get home as early as I can.

Keith is away in UK - his Dad's 90th birthday is coming up and he arranged
to spend three weeks there, added on to a work assignment in Nairobi. He
only gets back late on Christmas Day, after spending many boring hours
waiting around (tempted to say all in white) - but no, all in airports.

My sister and her family, with whom we usually spend Christmas, are off to
Australia this weekend so it will be me, the boys, Granny and the animals
(including my sis's two pugs) for Christmas.

I usually go to the Midnight service, Granny might come with me and I could
try to drag a boy along.

Summerstrand is full of holidaymakers and the beach weather has been good
though locals are in desperate need of more RAIN. I haven't tried to swim
in the sea yet but did take a dip in our pool at home. Other parts of SA
have had heat waves but we've been mostly cool here.
