It used to ruin Lessons & Carols for me if both of these hits (Ord's
and Posten's) were not included. Warlock's "Adam lay ybounden" ticked
me off in the alternate years.

We had Adam lay ybounden in a setting by David R. White (our organist)
at our (live) Advent L&C this year. A revelation, and a worthy
alternative to Ord's.
