[Magdalen] Update

Oncologist seen.  She'll be my doc throughout the process.  We start out with an assessment of my cardiac and bone status and Stage 2 (that's where I am) scan.  From there we move to a three-drug protocol (letrozole, cyclophosphamide, and epirubicin) for three rounds, followed by three rounds of docetaxel for three rounds, both on a 21-day cycle.  A month off, then a month of daily radiation.  First chemo is Jan. 9.  I will indeed lose all my hair, so I've asked my kids for warm hats for Xmas.  

This is formidable enough, but on top of that, a molar that my dentist had been carefully nursing along,  hoping to crown it, has decided to let go of its filling, allowing its wee titanium posts to poke into my tongue. This is maddening.  I plan to demand immediate extraction, just to get the *#%€*% problem out of the way before chemo starts.

There we are.  I admit to feeling worn and wobbly.  My friend Majella, who is my Appointed Nag (or Gnag, which should have one of those little Swedish circles over the "a") has been a pillar of solicitude.  Her Inner Truant beings mine out, which is a Good Thing.
