Generally here a toilet is a "loo" but "bog" is also heard occasionally.

At the family cottage on Big Wood Lake in Northern Wisconsin
(built in 1906), there was no modern plumbing. Hand pumps were used
in the kitchen, and there was an outhouse situated in a grove of
Eastern White Pines arranged so that one could sit on the biffy with
the door open. We called it, euphemistically, The Pine Room. It was
of wooden construction and like the similar outhouses along the north
shore of the lake, was always tipped over on Halloween.

Eventually my father had enough of these pranks, and rebuilt the
outhouse in concrete blocks. This solved the tipping problem.

Then modern plumbing was installed. There were still family members
who preferred the outhouse/biffy.
