I remember when my doctor (my age, and an old Army doc, an internist) 
sent me to a lung specialist for evaluation after I had pneumonia in the 
early nineties, when he was concerned about how long it was taking for 
my lungs to clear (I was okay, it was just taking a while).  I had seen 
more mature-looking boys hanging around my (then) 15-year-old daughter. 
  I kept expecting him to wiggle his ears!
