I think it very unlikely that the RNC will nominate Trump.
The trick is for them to corral his supporters, and that looks to be a
difficult end to accomplish.
Rrmember, there are loads of ways for the national committee to de-rail a
popular candidate:
Gary Hart and John Edwards, Nelson Rockefeller, Howard Dean, Ronald Reagan
(in 1968), Ted Kennedy. Paranoids might cite Bobby Kennedy, too.
Also remember that not every State even holds primary elections. Twenty or
more still caucus.
