I'm not particularly looking forward to the start of Great Lent on March
14, but it is what it is (no meat, eggs, dairy, or fish except fish on
March 25 [Annunciation] and Palm Sunday) (Wine and olive oil are allowed
on Saturdays and Sunday) May 1 is Pascha.
In the meantime it's generally just no meat, eggs, dairy, or fish on
Wednesdays and ,Fridays (Except during Cheesefare Week from March 7 through
13 when Dairy, Eggs and Fish are allowed all week.
I generally do break the fast on St Patrick's Day for corned beef and
cabbage.
