I think you have put your finger on the problem, Grace. No human would
treat his mother the way management treats its employees, but it
illustrates why the haves are so angry about the benefits the have-nots
get, and are eager to take them away. The worker is not a human being, is
not a person, is not entitled to the slightest consideration.
"Worker is the new slave." It's not a new thing. The sharecroppers were
(and are) slaves.
This is the main reason why, for the good of the country, the GOP has to be
vanquished.
