[Magdalen] Prayers please: missing, beloved dog

Dear ones,

We just got back from our trip to the Chicago area to mourn the death of
our family patriarch and celebrate his life, to find that daughter Sam's
beloved rescue dog (he rescued her; she rescued him) is missing. I am too
exhausted to be of much help. Sam is also exhausted. Sam's father, my
beloved, feels horribly guilty.
