I should clarify that even though some measure of healing is clearly happening, there still isn't any clear cure treatment going forward yet. Maybe it will be continued Colchicine, maybe not. And of course there's still the lymphoma, and (God forbid) what they still might discover from the PET scan. So, definitely a time for cheer, as pain relief and apparent attempts at healing always merit it. But it's still dismally depressing at how long everything is taking.
Definite thanks and appreciation go out to everyone cheering me on, though. Really.

Previous to Friday, I'd been put on Colchicine for the spread and healing of existing nodules that later become the open wounds I've been dealing with. Friday, I had a great talk with my main Stanford doc during which she both took me off the antibiotic I've been on because it was causing a rash, and brought me to full dosage (it had been half, as a starter) of Colchicine, and (remembering I'd been on half dose of it already), you know what? Friday I felt amazingly better. Pain still there, but not insanely so. Then yesterday, Saturday, and today, Sunday, damn, it's almost like I have feet again. Wounds still healing, both on shins and feet, but HEALING. Even being exposed to air doesn't make for screaming, like before. Swelling, too, seems to be down. Golly.
