Got up, showered, fed the cats and went downtown. Oddly, I find solitude in the basement food court at Macy's department store. Cup o'Starbucks and my iPad. Prayed Matins in the quiet train on the way down. I've only just texted him to let him know where I am.
I wouldn't stand in the way if you gave him a smack, Sally! I like the balloon idea, too.
He's had painful days in depression; for me, yesterday was a painful day in anxiety. He should understand.
