This day I had a late breakfast/lunch of an uncommonly good mess of
oven-cooked fries that were the bed for a layer of sauteed onion and two
perfect fried eggs. Later, a quantity of Pralines and Cream ice cream,
and, finally, a helping of the beef barley soup I have made from a
Christmas roast and its bones. Urp. Some good, some bad.
