[Susan Hutchinson]

I was in Montreal during the Olympics in 1976, waiting in the lobby of the
Queen Elizabeth Hotel, when Howard Cosell walked by. I was impressed with
his height. TV has the effect of distorting height. Mr. Cosell was at least
6'4. My visual memory had him holding a mike up to athletes. Of course
basketball and even many football players are much taller than that --
increasing the distortion!
