By and large, the recommended (by the emergency room when I first went) combination of ibuprofen and acetaminophen does the trick.  Except for this afternoon, though, as I was so worked up this morning over the appt it's throbbing pretty bad.  But, I'm soon to be home, in front of MSNBC, my legs up, and relaxing a'plenty.
