There was rain all day here in NE Pennsylvania USA, but at noon with the ambient temperature of about 60 F (15 C) there was heavy rain accompanied by lightning and thunder. It's been awhile since I've seen a thunder shower here in January. Now it's going down to 18 F tonight, and it is seasonably cold all week. David Strang.
