Agreed.

My initial reaction on FB to the question "I don't understand why the
Episcopalians should have to conform to the rest of the Anglican
Communion." was:

I suspect the end result, however many years down the road will be either the conservatives leaving or the Communion itself becoming completely irrelevant, instead of mostly irrelevant.
