It's been interesting during the 30+ years I've lived in NE  Pennsylvania,
within easy driving distance of Atlantic City.
 
Twenty and more years ago, there were fleets of AM buses lined up in
such locales as the shopping centers, and all headed for a small fee
to the casinos of Atlantic City.
 
Then Pennsylvania caught on to the money-making aspects of gambling,
and allowed a series of casinos to be built in PA.  The local horse  racing
facility, already into parimutuel betting (Pocono Downs) was  specified
as a gambling casino location (Mohegan Sun), and has expanded
to include a hotel, resaurants, etc. There's another casino in the  Poconos.
 
The buses in the parking lots for Atlantic City have dried up  completely.
