Atlantic City, for me, will always be, in memory, the place my hitchhiking hippie late brother Denis and his friend finally ended up in one of those early years of the 70s.  He had some amazing tales from along the way (told to me decades later, so I'd understand).  Upon arrival, he called our Pop and begged for plane tickets back.  Grumblingly (it was a Depression child dealing with a, ahem, hippie), he consented.  Soon after arrival home, he joined a Sacramento commune and got the Hep C that accompanied him to his cancer grave.  Ah, the life.
