I'm thinking that in the end, it may be the law enforcement people
themselves who will put enough pressure on the lawmakers for
more adequate gun control.  I know there is sentiment to this  effect
now among law enforcement professionals, but it needs to get  organized
and strong enough to overcome the NRA.  That will take some  doing.
