Checking back he apparently has waffled about abortion. In 2011
he is quoted as favoring choice and abortion rights, and then more
recently early in his campaign, he opposed abortion rights and said
the women who have them should be punished. He then changed that
to physicians who do the abortions being punished and not the women
having abortions.
So it's a little like Martin Luther in that early in Luther's break with
the Roman Church, his pronouncements sound more Catholic, and
then later, more Protestant. He sometimes contradicts himself.
