There is a hereditary component to migraines. Both my parents were
migraineurs, so we kids were double-whammied, and all of us have them, but
to varying degrees. My youngest brother got the worst of it, with chronic
migraine to the point where he could not function and eventually became
addicted to opioids, My kids all have/had them too, with varying triggers
and to varying degrees. Betsy has them the worst and hers seem to be
hormone-related. Certain birth control pills made them worse.
Dan, are you aware that there is Phenergan *gel* available? I didn't know
about it until my daughter told me. It's used for pediatric patients, but
apparently it's also given to chemo patients. Ask your doc.
