To tell you the truth, I don't relish spending a lot of time watching
the DNC either. Sort of an "I'll read about it the next day" feeling.
Same goes for the State of the Union speech.

So part of my problem is not having the patience to sit through a lot
of applause and general hooting and hollering, no matter which party
or even the president.

A few too many repetitions of "....from the great state of Upper
Slobovia, home of the world's greatest pinochle festival..."
