English scones are what Americans would call
Baking Powder biscuits
but ours are less likely to be sweet.
Americans don't do sweet like Europe actually. A comparison of American
chocolate (made with sour milk) and Beligian or Swiss (made with sweet
milk) might be helpful. I actually loathe sweet-milk chocolate.
