It's not tomorrow morning's procedure that has me wanting happy thoughts aimed at the ceiling, and not so much even the prep (it'll be the most laxative I've ever taken in an 11.5-hr window in my life to date), but the mere constricted timeframe of it all. For all the world's starving, I feel bad in saying I'd much rather have fasted for a week than down 255 gms of Miralax* in 64 fl oz of clear liquid of my choice in under 12 hours, but it's true. Oh well. Presumably, by 9:00 am at the latest I'll be done and on my way home (Anna driver), and at least, for the first time in all my invasive procedures since December, I'll be needled some happy juice to make my own personal Fantastic Voyage a relaxed one.

( * Re Miralax, it has a commercial of late with people "loving" their Miralax -- "I [heart] my LAX", etc. Every time I see it I giggle. "I love my Los Angeles International Airport?!!" )
