As he is apt to say, he's NOT Puerto Rican, even though he did junior
high school in San Juan.  He is actually a "Cruzian" from Saint  Croix
in the Virgin Islands.  His Spanish accent, however, is pretty  strongly
Puerto Rican, and he laughs at my attempts at the Spanish Castilian 
accent I was taught at UW-Madison.
 
He is the first to admit that pickup trucks and male macho go hand in
