If you are going to have a word like "transgender" then unless you have 
an equivalent word such as "cisgender" you will have to talk about 
"transgender or normal?" or "transgender or not?". Since the word 
"transgender" is well known, and cis/trans is a well-known Latin pair 
(used, for example, in chemistry), using the "cis" prefix allows an 
emotionally neutral balance word.
