I cringe when I hear someone say "enthused". "At this point in time" and "moving forward" earn zero points from me.

How about "I'm excited that..."?  There are lots of kinds of excitement,
many of which are pretty negative, the opposite of what the younger
generation (including my daughter) mean when they say that, which is
approximately "eager".
