This dear man died last night after suffering a breakdown on his way From 
Atlanta to his summer home in the Adirondacks. He was taken to a hospital 
in North Carolina, and placed on a respirator. Our Rector drove up to 
anoint and pray and be with his gathered family. The respirator was turned 
off and he died some hours later.

This is so heartbreaking because he and Jenny his wife were prepared to do 
parenteral dialysis there. He had been on hemodialysis until the parenteral 
could begin. A son was driving them north. They so loved their place on a 
lake in upstate New York. They were so looking forward to it.

Willy and Jenny are holy souls, steeped in the Scriptures and the tradition 
of the Episcopal Church. I will most miss them in our weekly Bible Study. 
They contributed holy wisdom.

Please pray for Jenny, the whole family, and for us at Christ Church 
Norcross GA who loved them so much. We are bereft

PS: Pray also for another saint who died yesterday, Daniel Berrigan SJ.
