I like especially the setting by Heinrich Isaac, a wonderfully melodious
miracle worker.  Dvorak was arguably the Heinrich Isaac of his time. (see
what I did there?)

Actually, Isaac was at home in several languages apparently, as his
offering (which you will have to dig to find, sad to say) answers to both
"Christ ist erstanden" and "Christus surrexit"!
