This just in. Keep Debra and Ian in prayer as she slips from his arms into God's.

I am stunned. She was such a wonderful woman.

"Debra took a turn for the worse today. The damage from the stroke is too great. The doctors say that all they can do now is keep her comfortable before her heart and lungs start to shut down, which would likely take place in a matter of hours. Bishop Michael has been with them this evening and just anointed her a few minutes ago. Ian will be staying with her through the night."

>> Prayers, please, for Debra Fieguth who is the face of this diocese to refugees and who suffered a severe stroke this morning. She had been hospitalized for pneumonia, so (please God!) she will have received prompt care, which makes such a difference. Prayers too for her husband, the Rev. Ian Ritchie.
