[Magdalen] Latin Altar Inscription.

I just saw a picture of an RC parish church in Saint Paul, MN USA built  in
my neighborhood in that city while I lived there in the early 1960's.
 
I was reminded of the interesting high altar inscription that  impressed
me then as now.  It is from John 8.58:
 
ANTEQUAM ABRAHAM FIERET EGO SUM
 
Before Abraham was (made), I am.
 
The altar is a dark green polished stone, and the inscription is  carved
across the table and highlighted in gold.
 
I've never seen this anywhere else.
