[Magdalen] Next Steps

Yes, Al Jazeera observes that the choice of Trump is the only really true
one, for the choice shows just what the USA in fact actually is. I have to
agree.

Oh sure, we can try to weasel out of things by saying crap like how the
technical majority actually chose Hil, one of the finest public servants of
our time, over that other person, but the fact is that about half of the
electorate buys the racist sexist line of that other person. That's the way
it is. They have had the truth readily available to them and they still
refuse to deal with it. Even beginning to compare the two as if there were
any comparison is so off the rails as to defy rational thought.
Even if it were true that Hil were anywhere nearly as putrid as the other
person (demonstrably not true. Not a single scrap of real evidence to
support all those lies about her. Not one), but even if it WERE true, I
would still vote democratic for the simple reason that we don't elect a
president so much as a political party. I said as much during the campaign
of that dreary little cypher Bush, and the people again wouldn't look up
from their hate-connected networks long enough to give any real attention.
"Yeah. Right. I don't care. I'm still voting for the twit."

The USA is going to become another Venezuela, only without any music.

It is not just the current election' this has actually been ongoing for
decades; we naive fools on the left just were stupid enough to think we
could make a difference; we can't. Nothing new. Nothing surprising,
actually. Amerika has been obstinately racist and sexist forever.
Oh, and if you actually are naive enough to talk dismissively about your
own sexism or racism, you ARE.
