[Magdalen] Listgives for Christmas 2016?

Marilyn, NOOO! I don't believe it.

This year, though I would be glad to send to anyone who needs a list give,
I think it wise to abstain from being a recipient - our post is just too
unreliable. In 2014 my gift finally arrived n February 2015, and as to what
happened last Christmas, I have no idea - I went to the Post Office a
couple of times and made them go through their records - nothing found.

There was a postal strike at some stage which went on for months and many
items never got further than the Johannesburg sorting office.

For sending out, I used Postnet which sends via DHL directly into the
overseas postal service but alas, incoming has to rely on the dying SA Post
Office. It just won't do after someone has gone to so much thought and
trouble.
