[Magdalen] Near miss?

Matthew and flee from Atlanta to Hawaii today. Our flight was into Lihue on Kauai. As we were seconds away from touching down, the pilot gunned the engines and ascended. Because of the fuel situation we flew to Honolulu where we are now to take on fuel, then we'll fly back to Lihue.

Turns out another plane pulled on the runway, presumably misunderstanding tower instructions. I think this qualifies as a near miss.
