S/O had problems a few years ago with the wiring harness in his car being
chewed up, presumably by chipmunks (though it may have been mice). Turns
out that apparently peanut oil had been used during the manufacturing of
the wires, as a release agent. Someone's brilliant idea, no doubt.

Probably the same guy whose idea it was to change the scrubbing agent in
Lava soap. About three years ago we noticed that our bars of Lava in the
workshop were being chewed up. A little research led us to the amazing fact
that Lava no longer uses pumice, but walnut grit, to scrub that difficult
dirt out of your hands. Now we bait our mousetraps with Lava soap scraps.
Damned effective, and works just as well as peanut butter!
