What's not true, Jim? That most of them are not great security threats?
That actually IS true. There are people there like somebody's DRIVER,
fergawdsake......although *he* at least, has been released.

Also, I do remember reading about a prison that was built and never used. I
just don't remember where. I thought it was in Idaho, but I could be wrong.
It's somewhere out there in the great expanse of the western
states...Montana, North Dakota, Idaho, someplace. In any case, there is
ROOM in max security prisons from which no one's escaped, like Marion, IL.
And courts in NY, for instance, have handled terrorism cases for years
without incident, so that argument is old and tired. We're just getting bad
publicity and creating more enemies and terrorists with Gitmo. Furthermore,
now that we have diplomatic relations with Cuba, maybe it's time to
renegotiate that place with them. Maybe we should give it back. It's THEIR
country, after all.
