I did make an exception for an obvious skin cancer.  I would tell  the
patient that he/she incidentally had a lesions that needed removal  pronto.
 
There are brown spots though, that commonly afflict us as we

A la Mel Brooks, I once had a patient with the WC Fields nose  (glandular
rosacea) gone wild.  I made the mistake (as it turned out) informing  him
there was easy surgery to correct this rosacea condition.
 
His response (like Igor in "The Young Frankenstein") --- "What  rosacea?
