Quite the jazz musician as well, back in his earlier days.  Sax, I think.  I'll always fondly remember he and I having a "gentleman's disagreement" about a particular Bix Beiderbecke recording (via email with a Brit who was on his staff at the time).  It was never resolved, because His Majesty simply didn't believe me when I told him the recording he was searching for was never made in the first place.

What a world.
