I returned home in the early afternoon yesterday from a quick

Monday night, sitting at the computer, there was sudden and severe  light-
headedness and nausea - mostly dry wretching.  These symptoms  were
severe and unrelenting. 

Then an exhausting inpatient day having every test and diagnostic procedure 
available followed.

After about 4 hours and without any specific treatment, it was over.

My internist came by and said that  they could find nothing, and  he
speculated a "virus."

And then, with the murmur that he "needed to see some (really) sick
people, he parted with:  "You're growing old gracefully.

Pretty good outcome for a potentially bad situation.
