Don't cha'know, we were settled by religious extremists from all of western 
Europe... a tidbit of history that seems to be missing from the texts these 
days... the flipside of which is people came here for religious freedom - in 
the 1600s and even still.

Freedom from (fill in the blank) meant many things to the throngs of 
immigrants who populated our new nation and territory from the beginning.
