This is the daily activity of many of us as we get into the riper  years.
It certainly characterizes my ongoing pattern.  What's missing for me 
is an organized formal prayer life on the monastic model.  I do have 
my daily prayers, but not like those described in Albion's letter.
 
I guess you could call me semi-monastic, or as my daughter calls  it
"semi-shut in."
 
I do wish Albion the best in his new life.
