[Magdalen] Prayer Request - Surgery

Of your mercy, I am asking for your prayers. I'm having surgery on Thursday
morning to repair a tear in my right rotator cuff. Some of you may remember
that I had this surgery on my left shoulder in 2012. That experience leads
me to believe that it's not going to be so bad but with surgery, I guess
you never really know. I was in much better shape and weighed much less
back then.

But, I'm grateful for a good insurance plan, liberal time off policy at
work, the ability to work from home if I'm not quite ready to return to the
office when my PTO is over. Most of all, I'm grateful to have a nurse
around this time to take care of me. Alex is already fretting over me and
helping me get prepared. Once gain, he is a blessing beyond imagination. I
can hardly remember what life was like before we got married.
