I don't subscribe to that rule, but I've been caught saying things
like "I'm sorry I'm always apologizing." LOL.
A colleague uttered a classic quote during a bit of a rant about some
issue on a project: at the peak of her exasperation, she sputtered,
"I'm not going to apologize; I'm sorry!"
Which of course led to some badly needed laughter and a defusing of
the whole situation.
