[Magdalen] Coffee Cups vs Wine Glasses

Good heavens, never!

In my experience very few USAns even own a teacup. It's mugs all around.

At my age (and with my arthritic paws) I hold most cups with both hands.
Not glasses yet, though. Perhaps in time that too.
