Prayers for a good night's rest and safe travel. You know we're rooting for you to do well on the test!! Try to leave the office stuff behind until you're due back there. You can do it!

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'. attributed to Erma Bombeck

Tomorrow morning I drive to Sacramento for the CFM exam. Via a concatenation of misunderstandings with my boss, today was a living hell, with me getting the message I'm clearly not committed to passing the exam. Those weren't the words, but that was the message. I hope I ace it, just to spite all their faces. But I am scared, and if I fail I've offered to reimburse the Agency its costs.
I really only have tomorrow from noon onward to finish studying. Everett tells me my boss is just messing with me, for her own personal, subconscious reasons. He may be right. We'll see.
Tomorrow, I've got to balance study with relaxation in just the right ratio so as not to wake up Friday morning wanting to jump out the window. I think I'll manage said balance. I guess the killer today was when I left early to pick up my rental car, I said good-bye, and she basically said "Okay." Thanks for the non-existent "Good luck".
I will NEVER volunteer for such an ordeal ever again. Ever. I wish I could retire tomorrow.
