Chiming in late to the discussion -

Yes, the part of HPE for which I work (gov't contracts) is also part
of the merge with CSC to form a new company. It will be multiply
interesting since at the moment I work in systems administration, my
position is being dissolved and moved into a different position
(contract re-organization), and CSC is the "development organization"
on the same job. So, after the merge and re-org, I will be working
with people I am already working with, but we will be under the same
umbrella organization.

Interesting times -
