[Magdalen] Liturgical funny

It seems every time I go to church now, I'm serving next to the
celebrant, either as subdeacon or as acolyte. Twice now I've heard
this during the Prayers of the People, from an apparently distracted
(or maybe not) celebrant, in Form III (p. 387):

Leader: We pray for all bishops, priests, and deacons
Celebrant: That they may be delivered from their distress.

(Response is supposed to be "That they may be faithful ministers of
your Word and Sacraments." The celebrant's response is supposed to go
with a later petition.)
