I used to hit the lab first thing it opened at 7:00 am, but the line then is much longer than it is during the final half-hour it's open late in the day.  Plus, I find it much easier to fast at work than at home, where there's calories all over the place!  (And with me waking up MUCH earlier than in previous years, temptation is just too strong.)
