I heard a figure of $3mil for every weekend in Mar-a-Lago, but I don't know
if that's accurate.  Whatever it is, it's outrageous.  I can't figure out
why someone in charge of the budget can't simply say there's no money for
this.I would assume there wold have been a line item in the original budget
to cover these expenses--surely it wasn't expected to cover this excess. He
could pay for all the weekend trips AND the security for the NYC residence
himself.
It has also been noted that, contrary to what he said during the campaign,
he is drawing a salary--though he says he'll reimburse the government
later. (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink)
