He has written major studies of the various parts of the Byzantine Liturgy and was probably one of those responsible for creating a textus receptus of the Byzantine Liturgy. We have had a textus receptus of the roman rite since the 16th century. The corresponding textus receptus is a product of the last 50 or 60 years. Most of my Byzantine mentors were/are products of the Russicum.

Russian Catholic alumni usually are more orthodox and more Russian than the Patriarch of Moscow (slight exaggeration) Fr. Alexander Nadson, also a product of the Russicum used to poke fun at these folk (He could, he was Bielarusian) Fr/Bishop Vladimir was also an alumnus who forewent a doctorate to work at Christ the Redeemer. Some of the guilty parties (g) are also active with the Italo-Greek Community on Staten Island. Fr Januarius Izzo (Archimadrite alumnus) was also the convener for the Byzantine Catholic Italo Greek community.

Bob Taft seems to have more humor than many of these worthies
